Terms of Service

NoticeMe is an independent project developed by a student based in Zurich, Switzerland, and made available to an international audience. By creating an account or using NoticeMe, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

What NoticeMe is

NoticeMe is a personal tool for recording symptoms, moods, and related observations so you can notice patterns over time and bring them to your own doctor. It is a tracking and reflection tool, nothing more.

Not medical advice

NoticeMe does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it does not predict health outcomes. Any patterns or summaries it shows are descriptions of the data you entered, not clinical conclusions.

NoticeMe is not a medical device and is not a substitute for professional care. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider about your health, and never disregard or delay seeking medical advice because of something you read in the app. If you think you may have a medical emergency, contact your doctor or local emergency services immediately.

Your account and your data

You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for the activity on your account. The information you enter belongs to you. How your data (including health-related entries) is collected, stored, and protected is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

Acceptable use

NoticeMe is intended for your own personal use. Please do not attempt to disrupt, attack, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service or to other users’ data, and do not use it for any unlawful purpose.

Ending your account and deleting your data

You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete Account. Deleting your account permanently removes your account and its associated data, including your symptom entries and generated reports. This action cannot be undone.

We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms or that are used in a way that harms the service or other users.

Availability

NoticeMe is an early-stage project provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Features may change, and the service may be interrupted, paused, or discontinued. We cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability or that your data will always be preserved, so please do not rely on NoticeMe as your only record of important health information.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, NoticeMe and its developer are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app. NoticeMe is offered as a non-commercial student project without warranties of any kind. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Changes and governing law

These Terms may be updated as the app evolves. If a change is significant, we will ask you to review and accept the updated version. These Terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland, with the courts of Zurich having jurisdiction, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
